Really Crawling, Sitting up better

Well Keegan is now 35 weeks old and is crawling for good! He used to do little knee crawls and then belly crawls, but as of yesterday he is now crawling with his knees...and he is getting good! He is also sitting up by himself a lot longer w/o toppling over. I can set him down and he is usually good to go and doesn't topple over...just moves around to his toys. He is pretty mobile now that he is truely crawling and it is just way too cute to see!

Keegan is also staying up longer after his nap times and as of this week can last about 3 hours before needing a nap. I think it's b/c there is so much to see and do now that he is very mobile! However, lately he isn't going down easily b/c he is more interested in playing with his bumper in his crib and trying to stand up then sleeping. Usually I let him go for a bit and then get him up, play with him for another 20 mins or so and then try for a nap again...usually that works. His naps last about 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours so I'm happy about that! He generally wakes up happy and very smiley!

Mia Pia

Well Mia has been doing very very well with underwear and as of maybe 6 weeks ago she has been diaper free...with only 1 accident and that was the first day we put her in underwear (or should I say, the first day "she" put herself in underwear!). She goes potty all by herself and I usually don't need to ask. She even went w/o going potty for 4 hours when we traveled back from my parents house last week. She's growing up so fast and is such cutie pie!! Oh and she stilllll sleeps on her floor and not in her big girl bed! Whatever works!

Rough Night, Sitting up!

Well Mr. keegan had a very rough night last night with going to sleep. It took an hour to get him to sleep b/c i think he was verryyyyyyy overtired. Then from 9-1045, he was up prob 6 more times due to him getting stuck in the corners and his feet poking through the holes...and from him trying to do head rolls! AHHHHHHHH! I had o feed him at 1045 and he slept from 11pm to 12am b/c he was stuck i think. Not sure why he wasn't like this the first two nights, but he went right to sleep those nights. Then he slept until 5am thankfully and then back down until 8am. Soooooo I had a hard time as you can tell and am hoping it's better tonight. Just when I thought he was doing well at night. :( I hope it was just an off night!

Keegan did something new today...he cried about 10 mins after going down for his nap and so when I checked on him, I found him sitting up touching his toes, crying!!! That was the first time that happened! He is getting better at sitting up on his own as of this week. Yesterday he sat by himself for about 45 mins or so before he toppled over. Up until now, he wouldn't last longer than 10 seconds. He'll now sit unsupported for at least 30 seconds or longer!

Swaddle Free!

Well since last night, Mr. Keegan is swaddle free, naps and all! We started with naps about 6 weeks ago and although it was very hard for the first few days, he has improved tremendously! He naps anywhere from about 30 mins to 2 hours! Then as of three nights ago, he would cry going down to sleep in his swaddle which he never did. I was able to get him to sleep Thurs and Fri night but not last night. He was crying and struggling to get his hands. I was so reluctant to let them free (I tried it thurs night and it did not go well!) but I knew it was time. I unwrapped him and immediately, he put his thumb in his mouth, rolled on his side and slept until 230am!!! WOW! I was shocked...and relieved! He then went back down until 7am and then for another 2 hours b/c he was so tired (it took about 1 hr and 20 mins maybe to get him back down at 245am). Sooo the first night went very well thank god and I am hoping it continues this way from now on! I will keep you posted!

Patsy and Bella's here!

Patsy and Isabella arrived in DE last Thurs and we've been having a blast since! The babies are so cute together and it's just too cute to see! Little Bella is such a happy baby and very talkative! Keegan likes to roll over on her and touch her face...I got a pic of it! :) We just got back from my parents house where we've been since last sat. It was a fun visit although the trip up took 5 1/2 hours with stops...it was tough! Luckily, it only took 4 hours to get home with a few stops. Phew! My parents were glad were stopped up so they could see their grandkids! We're glad we stopped by too! :)

Keegan's crawling...a little!

As of this past Tuesday, Keegan's been scooting more and more. He'd find a way to move to a toy by rocking and squirming on his belly. Then just yesterday, while Josh and my twin was here, he scooted and brought his knee up under his belly and went forward! He didn't do it a ton but he did it! Today, he is inching his way more and more to get things he wants. I wouldn't say he fully crawling but more like a scoot, a crawl, and an belly squirm all in one! :) He's doing it though and Josh was excited to see it before he left for Italy. :) Now I realllllly have to keep an eye on Keegan! Now the fun begins and I'm not sure if I am ready for it! haha!!
