Keegan is 11 months old!

WOW! Time is flying by to say the least and my baby boy is 11 months old! He is such a happy baby, it's incredible. Keegan is not quite walking but he is sooooo close! Just when we think he is going to take that first step, he decides that it's easier to crawl. Little stinker! Keegan is doing great though and sleeping through once again. He has a period of not going down easily from last fri until last night. He would just literally scream and cry when we left the room for naps and bedtime. I think it took about 2 hours the first time to about 20 mins last night. Phew! Not sure it it is due to teeth but we know it's not an ear infection (was grabbing ears). I do remember him being this way around the 4th of July so who knows! I do love getting my much very well needed and deserved sleep! He slept from 8pm to 7am last night! YAY!

To celebrate Keegan's bday we will be having a party in Dewey on Aug. 9th and one here at our house on Sat Aug. 23rd. Gotta love parties!

Hopefully next time I will be writing about him taking his first step! We'll see!

Mia is 3!

Miss Mobile Mia turned the big 3 today! WoW! Where did the time go!! We threw her a bday party with her friends and some family/friends this past Sat which was fun. We had about 11 kids here along with maybe 25 adults. The weather was hot so we all stayed inside. The kids got cute favors (girls got princess purses with some jewelry and dora fruit snacks. The boys got bubbles, squirt guns and dora fruit snacks too). Mia got a lot of gifts such as a princess sleeping bag which she wants to sleep with, a dora bedtime projector which is really cool, disney priness/fairy figurines, my little pony and a princess coloring book, dora backpack, clothes, dora baby dolls, sleepytime dora doll, princess purse and piano book, princess cell phone, keys, sunglasses and a cute purse to go with it and a bike from mommy and daddy which she seems to like. We have to take it back though and get a bigger one. It's a cute bike though and she looks adoreable with the helmet on...although it's slightly big for her head. :)

Today we are going to take Mia to friendly's for her birthday which should be fun and then this weekend we'll be celebrating her bday once again with the Carrolls and their beach friends. I wish I had this many celebrations for my bday! :)

Keegan's Cruising

Well Keegan isn't walking by himself yet, but he is cruising pretty well alongside the couch and ottoman. It is so cute to see! He almoooosttt took a step today but decided that he'd rather crawl. :) He is 10 1/2 months already and Mia took her step right around this time. We'll see if Keegster will take after his big sis!

Another tooth, Standing better

Keegan is getting his 3rd tooth (the first two popped up last Fri), the front right tooth on the bottom. He is a bit cranky at night but during the day he is fine. Mia was pretty cranky during the day when she got teeth which doesn't surprise me b/c they seem to be total opposites. I've been giving him teething tablets which seem to help a bit.

Keegan is also standing better and is a bit braver than he was a week or so ago when he first stood by himself. He stood by himself quite a few times today which was cute to see. I wonder when he will take his first step!! I am not sure if I am ready for that just yet! I may have to keep him on the ground for a bit. haha!!
