We had Keegan's 4 month well baby appointment (he was actually 19 weeks old) and here are his stats:
Wt = 15 lbs 7 oz, 50% tile
Ht = 25 1/4 in, 50% tile
Hd = 46 cm, 10% tile (He and Mia had small heads)
We decided to wait on the shots for personal reasons and will chat with the doctor at Keegan's six month visit about his shot schedule (we may break up the shots).
The doc said he is developing well and all looks great. He said to try giving Keegan water in the early mornings instead nursing him to see if he'd take it (trying to get Keegan to sleep through). We tried that and although he took the water, he would not go back down for us...just screamed! I ended up nursing him and back to sleep he went. We won't be doing water again. I'd rather nurse him and know he'll go right back to sleep for me. :) I also asked our doc about Keegan giving us a rough couple of nights this week and he said right around 4 months, babies may regress a bit in the sleep department. He said it probably has nothing to do with the formula we've been giving him (trying to see if he will sleep better with formula...so far, not so good!) and just to give him time. Other than that, Mr. Keegan is one healthy, not so little boy! :) Next visit will be on March 3 when Keegan will be slightly over 6 months old! Time is flying by!
