Christmas Time

Hi Everyone,

Thought I'd seperate this from our update since it'd be way long if I combined them. Anywho, here goes:

Christmas was fun once again this year especially since Keegan was finally here! We spent the weekend before Christmas with the Carrolls which was nice. Keegan finally got to meet their neighbors and Josh's grandmother in Allentown. Then we spent Christmas Eve with the Carrolls, Josh's grandparents, his Aunt from Cali and his other Aunt and Uncle. Keegan did well although he was very tired from traveling around that weekend...so was Mia since she didn't get to nap for three days (and no napping caused her to be miserable!). We then spent Christmas morning at our house with the Carrolls which was a lot of fun. However, Mia was miserable that morning but lightened up a bit when Josh brought her downstairs. She loved opening her gifts and got a ton of toys/clothes! Keegan was up for part of the gift opening and napped for a bit during the other part. He got some cute clothes also which look so cute on him! Josh and I got a lot of nice things too from the Carrolls and from each other. I got a GPS from Josh which I LOVE and we both got a portable DVD player from the Carrolls which Mia just loves! She loves watching Thomas The Tank on it! :)

Christmas afternoon was spent traveling to my parents, a 3 hour trip which turned into 4 hours due to a very very very very cranky toddler! It was a LONG and VERY HARE trip up to my parents...the hardest yet! She was so miserable it wasn't funny! Keegan got woken up from his nap right around Allentown b/c Mia was screaming, which was not fun either b/c he just screamed! We both looked at each other and kind of just laughed b/c we couldn't do a thing at that point. We had to pull over at the rest stop which was about 5 miles away and feed him...then he pooped in the car right when he finished his bottle...and it was just too cold to take him back inside the rest stop. We changed him in the car which was not fun either. Luckily they both finallllllllly fell asleep for the last hour which was so nice!

We arrived at my mom's that night and Mia was absolutely horrible! She would not calm down for anything and it prob took a good hour for her to do so. Once she opened up her gifts, she was pretty much calmed down thankfully. She and my mom opened up a tonnnnnn of gifts ranging from cute clothes to toys such as Mr. Potato Head, ABC and Number Soft Puzzle, A Dora DVD Match Game, a DORA playhouse (it's huge!) amongst others. She got a lot and enjoys all she got from both grandparents. :) Keegan also got some cute clothes and toys from my parents...gotta love cute boy clothes! He sat on Daddy's lap while Josh opened his gifts from my parents. I of course took advantage of that and got some snap shots of them and Mia. That night was a tough one but we got threw it somehow. :)

Our first Christmas in DE was nice but still involved traveling like it did when we were in Cali. It was actually a nice day too and not too cold. We didn't get snow though but at least that made safe traveling weather. Mia enjoyed Christmas even more this year and loved loved opening her many gifts! It was priceless to see and I'm sure every Christmas is going to be just as enjoyable as the last! :) We had a great Christmas once again and very thankful for all that we got!
